9 Muses and Greek Mythology

The wife of Zeus was also Mnemosyne who gave birth to the nine Muses.

Mnemosyne was the personalization of memory and the daughter of Uranus and Gaia. The gods asked the winner Zeus for the creation of divine powers to sing the victory of the battle of the Titans and the new world order. So Zeus slept with her nine consecutive days, and from this union the nine Muses were born.

The Muses were: Kalliopi, Euterpe, Kleio, Erato, Melpomeni, Polymnia, Terpsichore, Thalia and Ourania. Their leader was Apollo, so he was also called Muse Leader. But his role was not the same as that of the Muses.

Apollo was the god of the guitar.

"The 9 Muses Complex was planned and developed by our beloved father Dimitrios Kotsakis with the sole aim of providing families and residents security, tranquility and privacy in their vacations. Villa Euterpe is built at the most ideal spot of the complex, away from the main road and a stone's throw from the main square of the complex, adorned by the chapel of Ag. Kiriaki."
